Reze strategy
Purple Reze in Chainsaw Man is the raid face this page is about. TCG Contender files it as an aggro list, Standard tier 2. This site is hosting 36 public 50-card lists, including 5 recent top 8s. The tier list has Reze in A.
How the raid face works
The printed trigger on Reze (UE22BT/CSM-1-031) is: [Raid] Add this card to your hand, or if you have the required energy, perform Raid with it. Raid printings in the current 50: Bomb Devil (UE22BT/CSM-1-017) and Reze (UE22BT/CSM-1-031). In Union Arena, [Raid] lets you add the card to your hand or perform Raid if the energy is there. The expensive copy is the ceiling. The cheaper copies with the same name are the steps. Contender's snapshot calls out that deep redundancy across four distinct Denji printings (003, 004, 006, 008) means the deck reliably finds its aggressive core character on curve. The same snapshot flags that the deck leans almost entirely on the Denji/Reze aggro plan with no visible late-game reset or card-advantage engine, making it vulnerable to grindy control decks like Evangelion - Purple or Solo Leveling - Sung Jinwoo.
The current 50-card core
Four-ofs: Denji (UE22BT/CSM-1-004), Denji (UE22BT/CSM-1-006), Denji (UE22BT/CSM-1-008), Bomb Devil (UE22BT/CSM-1-017), Reze (UE22BT/CSM-1-025), Reze (UE22BT/CSM-1-026), Reze (UE22BT/CSM-1-028), Reze (UE22BT/CSM-1-030), Reze (UE22BT/CSM-1-031), and It's Because I Like You (UE22BT/CSM-1-036). Three-ofs: Denji (UE22BT/CSM-1-003). Common two-ofs: Bomb Devil (UE22BT/CSM-1-016). That average is taken from the featured list on Chainsaw Man - Reze, then checked against the 36 hosted files.
The curve
Energy 0-2. Denji (UE22BT/CSM-1-003), Denji (UE22BT/CSM-1-004), Denji (UE22BT/CSM-1-006), Reze (UE22BT/CSM-1-025), Reze (UE22BT/CSM-1-026), and Cafe Crossroads (UE22BT/CSM-1-033) keep the early turns honest. Energy 3-4. Denji (UE22BT/CSM-1-008), Reze (UE22BT/CSM-1-028), Reze (UE22BT/CSM-1-030), Reze (UE22BT/CSM-1-031), It's Because I Like You (UE22BT/CSM-1-036), and Boom (UE22BT/CSM-1-039) are the mid-curve bodies. Energy 5-6. Bomb Devil (UE22BT/CSM-1-016) and Bomb Devil (UE22BT/CSM-1-017). This is read off the hosted 50, not a hidden playbook. If your locals file plays a different 3-of, trust that file.
Mulligan
Keep a Raid Reze, at least one 0-2 cost setup card, and one Denji (008) if the cheap card missed. Ship a hand of only 7+ cost finishers. That is inferred from costs in the hosted list, not a coach sheet from a hidden room.
Tech and flex
Bomb Devil (UE22BT/CSM-1-016) are the first slots to shave if your room is all one matchup.
